Happy Halloween...Monday Mail Call...College Game Day Report...

I hope you are all having a spooky good time tonight.

Check out the size of this package that arrived
while we were out of town this weekend.
It was from my PAFA team swap partner...

The most fabulous Halloween cat was inside...
I just love...love...love her!

She just made herself right at home on my dining room table.

Where the Weekend Went...
 and College Game Day Report.
Hubby and I spent the weekend visiting Emily.
We had tickets for "the game"...
#3 Bison vs. #2 Panthers

It was a beautiful autumn day...no one was in the bus...
everyone was outside.

College Game Day Report ~ The Dakota Marker was on the Line...

The Dakota Marker is the trophy awarded to the winner of the annual college football game played between the
NDSU Bison and the SDSU Jackrabbits.
The Dakota Marker is a model replica of the quartzite monuments that were used to decipher the border between North and South Dakota when Dakota Territory was split into 2 states.
photos courtesy of gobison.com.
So, the Bison traveled across the border, ready to play some football,
and NDSU retains the Dakota Marker.

And at the same time...on a different channel...
our neighbors to the south were playing our neighbors to the east.

The University of Nebraska was at the University of Minnesota.
The Huskers did not disappoint.

Did your team win?

Enjoy what's left of the weekend

Things in my House that make me Smile...

Our Mums are so pretty...
I just had to bring them inside.
You see...there was frost on the pumpkin.

The "have to scrape the windshield" kind of frost.

Kinda busy here, as the first school term ends tomorrow...
final projects
end-of-course exams
make-up work
-yikes-
meanwhile...
take time to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Take care,
~Natalie

What Bella does when Amy goes to work...

She had fatty liver disease...
but with Amy's persistence and the family force feedings,
Bella has recovered.
When Amy is home, Bella doesn't leave her side...
follows her from room to room.
But Amy has a career job and has to go to work...
in fact, she often works very long hours.
Remember, I was there for Amy's first day of work...
I was able to observe, first hand, what Bella does when Amy is at work.

And no...she doesn't sleep all day.
She watches the birds and squirrels,
and visits the neighbors upstairs.
And she eats three square meals a day.

But mostly...
she watches for Amy to come home.

Our furry friends are such faithful friends...

Take care,
~Natalie
