Is this the week that I get to meet
our Papa and Gigi?
Let me tell you, we are going to have so much fun with them.
We have all kinds of adventures planned.
But we need to be patient just a little longer,
as it’s going to take them a while to get here!
Traveling across Minnesota,
there is a fabulous place to stop for lunch in Courtland.
The service was friendly and the food was so tasty.
Papa ordered the Patty Melt with Tator Tots
and I asked for the Side Salad.
The sandwich featured two perfectly prepared Ground Beef Patties,
Cheese, and Caramelized Onions on Grilled Marble Rye…
enough for sharing.
The salad of fresh Greens, Shredded Cheddar,
and Tomatoes was generous, too.
The lunch was perfect
for this Old Crow.
There was plenty of sunlight left when we got to La Crosse.
Another highlight of our day was a walk in Riverside Park.
We listened to some live music in the park’s bandshell,
before seeking out a place for some dinner.
(Which was not blog-worthy, by the way)
A Beautiful Wisconsin Sunset to end our day.
