Tuesday's Tip of the Day ~ Spring Cleaning and Host a Swap Party

Who is in the mood for Spring Cleaning?
To Minimize?
To Simplify??

Check out Real Simple Magazine's guidlines for hosting a Swap Party.
Invite 8 to 10 or 20 friends to participate...ask them to bring several items to your house...about 4 or 5 days in advance.

This gives you time to sort...ticket...tag the items
and place them on display in your home.

Prepare some simple snacks...finger foods...
those that leave one's hands free for browsing.
You are allowed to select and take home as many items as you donated.
Leftover items will be donated to charity.

My friend, Paula, hosted our first Swap Party last summer.
I think it is safe to say, we are all starting a box of goodies for her second annual Swap Party.

I know I'm looking forward to it.
You should plan one, too!

Take care,
~Natalie
