Mail from Malaysia

A very sweet blog friend, Jasmine has certainly brightened my day...and my week. I received notice that a package has come registered mail, so I went to the post office after school today, to pick up this large envelope. The stamps alone are fascinating! It's cold (-17 to be exact), school is hectic, so a package in the mail made my day. I could hardly wait to get home to open it!

Inside, not one, not two, but three journals, artistically embellished, personalized for me and for my daughters. What a thoughtful gift. I can't wait to get these into the mail to my girls.
Even her
handwritten note is charming! Be sure to visit her blog Scrap in the City to see more of her wonder ful creations.
... And Callie was right there...on the stool, paws up on the counter,
as if to say, "Those are the cat's meow!"
Thank you, Jasime

hi natalie and amy, great to know you've received the journals. i was kinda worried about the cold weather affecting the postal system. so glad you liked them. please do not feel that it is too beautiful to write on. once you are finished with it, just let me know. i will do a remake of a differentt design.

Those are beautiful (I love stamps and scrapbooking things) -- the journals are beautiful, enjoy those blank pages just waiting for words!

Beautiful! And I *love* getting packages from other countries to save the stamps for my collection! Too fun!

You're so right that a package from another country has the neatest stamps! Think of how far it traveled (farther than I ever have or probably will). My daughter has gotten several ebay wins from across the globe, Japan and Australia...and I save the mailing envelopes because they are so unique!

Those journals are beautiful. Enjoy.
