Wet Paint and Weekend Celebrations

We got the kitchen put back together just in time for our family company...first, Mom and Ken, then Emily, then Amy and Seth. It was his birthday the day before, so that called for a party...steak on the grill...chocolate cheesecake...birthday presents...

What do you think of the red wall? The white phone needs to go...and, I haven't hung anything up yet...I guess I need to look at it for a while before I commit to any nail holes.

Here are the Geffre women at the church...setting up for Grandma's big birthday Open House.

All the party pictures are on my sister-in-law's camera...so I will need to get them from her before you can see that affair...but I think everyone had a good time. All 120 of them!!

I like the red wall. How many coats of paint did it take?? I've been in a painting mood at my house, too, except we got rid of red walls! LOL!

We have red walls in the atrium and red under the dining room chair rail. Been very happy with it for years.

Your red wall is wonderful! Love decorating with red. Have red this and that all over my house. It is a very energizing color. I think you made a very good color choice.

Love your red wall!! it looks exactly like the color of my bedroom! I love red rooms. Happy Birthday to your beautiful mom!! My mom has a few more years til 80, but I'm hoping she is healthy and still going strong like your mom. I love it when all the family is at our house like last weekend for KB's birthday. I love the summers too, cause we have so many family birthdays, and I can enjoy being with everyone. Summer is coming to an end too fast.
