If you are interested in college football at all, you are aware that players from all over the country reported this week to their college campuses to begin their training. If you live in (or near)Nebraska, you are probably a UNL Cornhusker Fan and you wear red on game day, whether you are going to the game, or not. Saturday was Husker Fan Appreciation Day. There were people of all ages out on the field to get a glimpse of their favorite players and coaches. See all the lines of people? Those are the folks that want an autograph or to have their picture taken with their favorite player.
We just enjoyed going out onto the field. On game day we are usually one of nearly 90,000 fans and we are sitting 2/3 of the way up in the stadium. This was a whole new 
perspective.
The temperature reached 102 degrees. I wonder what it was with the heat index. Whatever the temp...everyone was hot...hot...hot!

OMG you are a husker fan too!! Yeah! Hubby granduated from UNL and we lived in Lincoln for our first couple of years of marriage. All I can say is........GO HUSKERS!! Hope they have a good season this year!Carolee~ArtPodStudios
Lucky you Natalie!! I'm only an hour away and didn't even get to go...lol!! I think I would agree, just to be on the field would be good enough for me!!
