Happy Labor Day

Line, our foreign exchange daughter, is happy to have a day off ... but she askes ..."What is Labor Day?"

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. Traditionally, Labor Day is celebrated by most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer.

Best Wishes for a Happy and Safe Labor Day with your Family and Friends.

Hi Natalie, Hope you all have had a great day. I didn't know you had a foreign-exchange student. That is SO neat. Where is she from???

We had a nice, calm, quiet day---and having alot of rain off and on all day helped keep it calm.

Hugs,
Betsy
