Most of you know that during the month that my mom was in the hospital,
I stayed at a motel in Grand Forks.
I so appreciated a bed to sleep in...
A shower to freshen up...
Some Wireless to be in touch with family and friends...
A Continental Breakfast to nourish...
But what's up with a Motel
and their lack of electrical outlets?
Here you see
Our mini refrigerator...
Our Microwave...
Our Wall Light...
...And Emily's Phone Charger...
OK...
...We still have more stuff to plug in...
So I purchased an inexpensive power strip...One I can use when we stay out of town...and it will be stored in my suitcase. That way, I cannot...will not... forget to pack it.
In this day of technology...we need more outlets...
for multiple cell phones, camera battery chargers and computers.
We need to plug in alarm clocks, lamps, shavers, hair straighteners, and blow dryers.
If motels do not provide enough access to electrical outlets,
You need to be prepared!

We have noticed that as well when we travel. We have had to hunt for places to plug in the phones! Great idea!!
Interesting! What bothers me is they always put the electrical outlets behind all the heavy furniture!
You hit on my biggest rant about hotels/motels. Before I retired, I did a lot of traveling for work so I had a mini-office with me: computer, printer, 2 cell phones, PDA, etc. etc. (I also traveled with at least one power strip and an extension cord.)
I also hated just one outlet in the bathroom. I'm left-handed and of course the one plug was almost always on the right.
When we travel for shows, I've always complained about that. The funny thing is that we have several power strips in the trailer with all the extension cords we may need for a show. Duh! Thanks for the tip.
I had to start taking one of these whenever we cruise, too, as the cabins on the ship don't have enough outlets either!! LOL
