Things in my House Thursday~The Dining Room Table

Our Dining Room Table is Old...we purchased it at a rummage sale in 1980.
For $200 we bought a hutch, a buffet, the table, and 6 chairs.
Hubby and I have discussed getting something different...
But I like this table...it is large...it has 3 leaves...
We could seat 12 for dinner...
Some day our daughers may have husbands and children.
We won't need an adult table and the children's table...
We can all sit together!
This table, at times, has been a catch-all...
For books, bookbags, mail, jackets, projects, stuff...
Last October, I purchased a Fall Garland...
Placed it on the table runner, with hopes to deter the accumulation of junk on the table.
I think it may be working.
In December, I switched the fall garland for this winter arrangement.
And now...for Spring...
Isn't this just perfect...so fresh...
And, it's so easy...
Don't you just love Hobby Lobby?!

Love you decorations! I need something for mine also. It catches everything. Mine seats 12 also, however our family has exceeded that now so we just do buffet now.

How funny... I've been thinking about what I need to do to my table because it becomes a catch-all at my home also. I love what you've done and changing it out with the seasons is a wonderful idea! Your spring setting is very nice.

I must love Hobby Lobby too... I work there! I'm only there two days a week though and that's enough. I'm always eyeing something new I need to buy... I mean every single day I work I see something I want to bring home. =]
