TGIF & How an Exchange Student Gets All Her Stuff Home

Is this just not the cutest luggage for a young woman?!
When Line came to the United States, she was allowed one suitcase.
One Suitcase?  For a teenage girl??
Really???
Sooo...this luggage is on sale at Target.
Line bought the large one, because she is allowed to bring two suitcases on the way home.
The carry-on is as cute as cute can be too!

The rest of her clothing, toiletries, books, DVDs, shoes, boots, coats, purses, prom dresses, souveniers, etc. needs to be boxed up and shipped home.
I spent much time researching the most economical way to go.
It is our United States Postal Service.

Though rain and shine, sleet and snow...
The USPS was about a third the cost of our other options.

Friendly folks there, too!

She's a lucky student to have been placed in your home. Love the luggage--that's not easy to miss! AHH the USPS comes through once again!

Cute luggage indeed.

I can't believe it's already been a year since Line came into your home. I know she's excited to be going home but I can imagine that she is also a little sad, just as you must be, to be leaving.

My best to Line.

It seems like Line just got there! USPS--it's surprising how cheap it can be compared to other shipping.
