This beautiful piece of furniture came to our home in June.
It is one of mom's many treasures.
It was a wedding gift to her mom in 1917.
Aren't the details beautiful?
It is visible and can be appreciated from our living room...
...And from our dining room.
The drawers are deep and functional...
for placemats, tablecloths, and serving pieces.
It is just one of many family heirlooms
that I will cherish...
...forever.

It's really nice - quality. It is also good to have in the kitchen to store things. You can never have enough storage.

It is beautiful and will give you many years of fond memories. I have my grandmother's old oak kitchen cabinet in my dining room. It's one of those with the roll-top door and pull out enamel counter. It has the old breadbox drawer, complete with the metal slide cover too. One of the original glass canisters is still with it! My grandparents purchased it when they got married in 1910. I remember it in her kitchen and then in my Mom's. There are so many memories attached. Enjoy your new furnishings (and memories).
