Coffee...To Go...

When you pick up coffee,
What size do you buy?
(Starbucks photo from Google images)
I need some input...
I am creating Calico Coffee Cup Cozies.

I happened to have a paper cup protector from the last time that we were at Panera...
I did some tracing, measuring, adding and tweaking.

For now, I am using a 12 oz. Dixie Grab and Go Cup to try on for fit.

Leave me a comment...
Let me know what size coffee, tea, cocoa, or latte you like to order.

I'll wait to hear from you before I make too many more...
Cause I'm thinking...
I may need to enlarge my pattern for the next batch?

Take care,

Those cozies are adorable. Quite the idea! Thanks for taking the time to peek at my blog and leave a comment. Have a great day. Susan

I think they are cute. Aren't the paper ones one-size-fits-all?

My problem would be to remember to take mine with me LOL.

Have a great day!

I hardly ever buy coffee out..but if I did, I would get the smallest.

Natalie,

I have to say I don't drink Starbucks coffee but I do get Panera's sometimes when I stop to get bagels. I usually get a small coffee and use their paper cozies. I would think if you would taper them like panera does, won't they fit a variety of sizes? They just won't all be in the same place on the cup.

Could you make them all the same size but adjustable. Something along the lines of the hidden elastic put in the waistband of men's pants?

Your fabric choices are so cute!

Unfortunately I don't drink coffee out either so I am not much help there, but I think the idea could be a good one once you figure out what you want to do. The elastic sounds like a good idea.

Have a great day.

Those are so cute. I order a tall chai latte even though I would love a grande. I have stopped using the throw away cups though and now take in my own cup. I'm trying to save the environment...one less throw away cup at a time. :)

Natalie,

Being near Seattle, I'm a coffee junkie, and almost always order a grande. The paper sleeves do fit all but the smallest cups well, but have you thought about using velcro dots to make them adjustable? Then maybe they could be used to fit those hot ceramic cups we all have too? Just a thought.

Oh Natalie, I am no help!! After thinking about it, I realized I NEVER BUY coffee to go! I am set in my ways, and only drink old fashioned "perk on the stove" coffee from my old coffee pots. But I loved the pictures of the pumpkins!

Okay--survey here. Laura Beth says 12 oz. Nick says "venti" thinks that is a 20 oz.
