On Thursday, we awoke in beautiful Colorado.
We flat-landers get pretty excited when we see mountains,
so I took lots of photos while hubby was driving.
Since hubby likes to brew his own brew,
we wanted to tour the Coors Brewing Company in Golden.
Whether you brew beer, drink beer, or neither,
this tour is quite impressive.
It is self-guided, so you can spend as much or as little time as you want there.
At each station, use your hand held speaker...press the corresponding number to listen to the beer brewing facts.
And there are plenty of friendly folks along the way to answer questions and personalize your experience.
I was most impressed with the many, many copper brewing tanks.
Aren't they pretty?
Equally impressive was the rate at which cans and bottles were packaged and went past us on these conveyor belts.
Last stop...the Tasting Room.
Yes, free samples of the freshest beers you'll ever taste.
Definitely, time well spent...
And Golden is a quaint little town for lunch and shopping.
Back into the vehicle for our drive up the mountain.
Such beautiful scenery.
And then into Aspen,
Emily was home from work...ready for guests.
We were able to celebrate her birthday with a nice dinner out.
Little Sorbet Mice...
a sweet ending to a perfect day.
Take care,
~Natalie

Thanks for the tour through the brewery. Colorado looks lovely...I've never been but did see the snow covered mountain peaks off in the distance when we were at the Grand Canyon. I would love to tour the midwest...Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, Bryce Canyon, and such...maybe one day.

Happy Bithday to your girl! My daughter's b-day is this week! When you go to CO in summer you have to do Garden of the Gods and the Pike's Peak cog train...atop Pike's is where Oh! Beautiful! was inspired to be written...there is a plaque commemorating Catharine Lee Bates. You can see 8 states from on top!
Happy Spring Break...mine isn't until April!
Looks like a wonderful trip! I wanted to let you know my blog has changed from cozyetsy to cozyatoz.
Yay! It looks like you are having a wonderful time!
I've always wanted to do a brewery tour! Looks like fun.
We've been to Colorado a couple of times but have never been to Golden. Thanks for taking us on the tour of the Coors plant with you.
