Since it seems we will be skipping spring and going from winter right into summer here,
I purchased some spring tulips...
...cut and ready to appreciate.
It snowed on Monday...
These were our cars on Tuesday morning.
While everyone is tired of winter...
There is a plus side.
The students are still productive
and classrooms are quite manageable.
When the weather gets nice,
students are ready for summer break...
everyone just wants to be outside.
Teachers included!
Yes, I am still making coffee in the bathroom.
Our kitchen is slowly coming together,
The plumber has been here...
The counter top has been installed...
The texture and paint is dry...
Hubby has reattached the upper cupboards...
Once the sink and drain are functioning,
I'll be able to put everything away again.
Monday Mail Call
There's nothing better than a package in the mail.
This one came from my secret swap partner over at Char's.
I just love my spring bunnies and little chick.
Thank you so very much!
Thank you, everyone, who stopped by and left comments yesterday.
There are still so many unanswered questions...
Take care,
~Natalie

Still thinking of your post yesterday. Sorry I didn't comment, but I literally didn't have the words. So sad.
Your tulips are beautiful -- I have some yellow ones in my kitchen right now. I imagine your kitchen looks fabulous! Can't wait to see!
Natalie,
The tulips are lovely. I don't blame you one bit for purchasing them...I would too if it was still snowing here. We did get some wet snow/sleet/rain overnight but it turned back to rain this morning here, so I think it's safe to say we won't be seeing anymore white stuff til next winter! Yeah! Looks like your kitchen is coming along. Mine is still a mess. The hubby has 2 cabinets made. I still need to sand and paint them. I am hoping that they turn out how I have envisioned. Anyway, bet you will be glad when things are back to normal. You'll have to post pictures when it's all finished.
D
I love your flowers !

Snow??? OY.
Making coffee in the bathroom...that is as good as me cooking dinner in the laundry room. :)
Lovely gifts.
I don't know about you, but I'm beginning to feel a little cheated out of spring. We got some snow followed by freezing rain a week or so ago. The result is rock hard, frozen snow that is super slow to melt. Even with the sunny days we've had, the temps haven't gotten above the mid 40's. I'm beginning to think the white stuff will still be here in July!
The tulips are so pretty! My local supermarket has a huge display of hyacinths right near the entrance. They smell so good, maybe I should pick one up!
Love the bunny and the chick!
