Where Bloggers Create 2012... plus a Giveaway

Welcome to my studio!
I have been so excited to show you the changes I've made.
If you remember from previous years,
there was a big brass bed in the middle of the room.

Now, the big brass bed is downstairs and I have room for a table.

I kept the sewing counter in front of the window...
I can watch the birds in the summer and the snow in the winter!

I found the perfect place to hang my
Mothers Day gift from my sweet daughters.

My buttons and thread have moved here for easy access.

My Mom's custom built sewing cabinets have been moved here to the studio.
I love all the new storage.
Vintage luggage and wooden crates provide even more places to tuck away supplies and projects.

My seat at my desk is the bench from mom's bedroom vanity dresser.

Wooden cigar boxes, vintage books, baskets, my grandma's hats...
all provide creative inspiration.

The fabulous little table (from Ikea) has two drop leaves to create a large work surface...
plus there are three storage drawers on each side.

I can have just one or both leaves up, depending on the size of my project.

My helper cat likes the table, too.

Thanks for visiting my studio.
Please leave a comment and I will draw a name on August 16th.
The winner will receive one of my handmade Infinity Scarves.

A special thank you to Karen, from My Desert Cottage,
for organizing this blog party.

You won't be disappointed!

Take care,
~Natalie

Hello Natalie.....I love your studio space...so glad I stopped in to visit. I almost purchased that same IKEA table in white....but they didn't have it in stock when I went...and so I didn't.....

I think it looks amazing in your space...and it looks like your room is big enough to keep the table opened all the time!

thanks for sharing your space...hope you'll come by to peek at my little corner of the world.

Hi Natalie,
Love your big space for crafting and sewing. Isn't it great to have a big space for working?

Maureen Hayes said...

Natalie,

What a lovely space you have. It looks so organized, I wish I could say the same for my own space! I love that table you were able to get from Ikea. I just recently bought a sewing machine and that would be the perfect table for it, I will have to see if I can find it.

I have two kitties as well and enjoyed seeing your babies in the post. I plan to check out your Etsy shop next. I always enjoy seeing what people make as well as their studio space. I am fascinated with the fact that you live in SD as it is one of those states I simply do not know much about but have always been interested in.

Thank you so much for sharing your space with all of us. I enjoyed seeing it and got some great ideas to boot. I am now following your blog and look forward to seeing what you post next.

Have a wonderful weekend,
Maureen
