We kicked off our weekend early at the Downtown Outdoor Concert.

A beautiful evening, with a light breeze to keep us cool and the bugs away.

The band, Ransom Brothers from Austin, TX,

entertained with Southern Country Rock.

However, the best part of the evening is catching up with “old” friends.

Attention Avon Enthusiasts ~

Hubby’s Mother sold Avon for 48 years.

Yes, that is quite a legacy. 

One of her bedrooms was devoted to her Avon Office

where she maintained an impressive inventory.

Now that she has moved, it is time to rehome those items.

Hubby set up that table of bath and body care products,

while I displayed all the Jewelry.

The kitchen cabinets are bare, so a Dominos Delivery

provided a much needed lunch break.

Hubby’s sister organized all the makeup, holiday gifts, and more.

All pieces and products are new in gift boxes,

There are dainty chains and impressive statement pieces.

There will be a sale, and we’d love to see y’all there.

We were pleased to have a indoor project,

as we are right in the middle of our Heat Wave.

Yep, 90°+ with no end in sight!

But we all know that in a few months we’ll be

talking about how cold it is!

I harvested a large bowl of Basil from our Herb Garden,

to prepare a batch of Pesto for Pasta…

along with enough to freeze.

That fresh taste of summer will be welcome this winter.

Hubby prepared Chicken Leg Quarters out on the grill.

This is a favorite meal on a hot summer night.

These little Witches are listed in my Tins and Treasures Etsy shop.

Along with their little Black Cat, they all are looking for a forever home.

We have a little Black Cat of our own.

She has her forever home with us,

She is helping me create Sweater Pumpkins for

the upcoming Makers Markets.
