What'cha Workin' On Wednesday ~ Question of the Day ~ and Sometimes I just Laugh Out Loud

Tomorrow = first term parent/teacher conferences.
This week students are checking grades and handing in missing assignments.
So, I am correcting and recording like crazy tonight!

In Basic Foods class we prepared our Homemade Pizza...
and again, the never-ending debate...
does the pepperoni go under or over the cheese?
I overheard one student say,
You have to put the pepperoni on top, so the customer knows what kind of pizza it is.
Obviously, he works in a pizza place with a lunch buffet.

How do you all layer your homemade pizza?

My Etsy Team is preparing for the Winter Gift Giving Season with our

to see my latest batch of decorated tins.

Ok...back to correcting the test I gave today...
I just have to share this...

Now...Remember...I teach at the High School level...
Did you notice this message on the top paper of the stack of school work in the photo above?
Yup...you're reading that right...
"I am aware that I got many wrong.
May this picture of a Giraffe give me +1 :)"

In 3 years, he is going to be in college.

Maybe.

Take care,
~Natalie

Oh Natalie, first off, I'm thankful you are a teacher, you are a blessing to so many! Please give yourself a hug for me.

What a hoot, why of course that giraffe, he thinks will help! Oh my....

I put my pepperoni on top...just me! I have enough cheese on it and when it's out of the oven, you can hardly tell what's put on last!

Great post and God bless you and all teachers. You are remarkable people that I highly respect.

Cheese first, pepperoni on top...Too funny that your student thought a doodle would help.

Oh my ~ dare I ask if he's getting +1?!? lol Too funny! Your new tins are very cute! When we make our pizza @ home pepperoni is under the cheese. Hope you have a great week!

I like the cheese over the pepperoni ~ otherwise I feel the pepperoni gets to crunchy!!!

I give you a lot of credit ~ do you smile and just put it aside or do you tell him it won't get him any where in life???

Love the new tins!

I layer my pizza without pepperoni! Usually veggie with sausage :)

The giraffe is too cute....equal to what I get from my kids...pictures daily...ah, the perks of kindergarten!

My son works in a pizzeria. He would never let me hear the end of it if I put the pepperoni under the cheese because they put them on top where he works. The last time I made pizza at home, he told me I needed to increase the oven temp. Unfortunately, my oven only goes to 500 degrees.

Your tins are just adorable! I haven't started on any holiday themed items for my Etsy shop, but I've got lots of t-shirts for sale.

The giraffe drawing is too funny!

Now that's scary!!! lol
Goodness it must be difficult teaching that age and look at all that late work - YIKES.
I just don't think the kids get it anymore.

IF I made Pizza with Pepperoni on it - it would go under the cheese...I like the cheese to be the last thing.
