There was a time when I was addicted to counted cross stitch...
that was 1978 to 1984 BC
(before children)
I purchased DMC floss whenever it was on sale.
And, I purchased DMC floss whenever I started a new project...
I needed the exact color that the pattern specified.
Serious stitchers know that you can't just use any blue...
you have to look for the exact number of the blue hue!
While I still enjoy stitching...there is way more floss here that I can possible use up in my lifetime.
I am taking photos to list the extras in my Notions shop today.
I will offer some in bundles of like colors and some in bundles featuring all the colors of the rainbow.
Please contact me here, if you would like something specific.
Happy Stitching!
Take care,
~Natalie

Natalie, Will these be on your Natalie's Notions etsy? I'll be looking for them. ~Ann
I'll have to see if I need any, but I'm pretty full myself. I love looking at these pictures though, such beautiful rainbow colors!
Hi Natalie, just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

Thank you for the smile. My fabric and art stashes are not nearly so pretty and neat!
Natalie, I just need to come to your house and see what else you got hiding in that studio, LOL
Warm Wishes,
Kim
I was just digging through my own stash, from my bracelet making days as a kid, yesterday for a project, and I thought I had a lot. My stash is minuscule compared to this! Purging is a good :)
Zowie! Yes you have me beat in the embroidery thread catagory! I packed mine off to Goodwill a few weeks ago...I used to do it all by hand and had all the stitches and knots perfected...that was BC too...although I did embroidery overalls for them when they were small...now my machine does it :)
That is a lot of floss. I loved to cross stitch before kids too, I found that stopping and starting after kids didn't work out for me. Now I just do very small projects.
oooohhhh, I love it! My grandmother taught me to embroider when I was about 8 or 9. I still have embroidery floss from way back. Then my mother-in-law passed away and I inherited all her stash too. I love to just look at it. I know I should do something with it in their honor but anytime I take it out I tend to just sort and look at it. It brings back so many memories.
