Things in my House Thursday ~Forming A Feline Friendship ~An Update
This is our greeting when we return home after an evening out.
Not sure they are friends,
but they are tolerating each other.
You might remember that Jasmine
came to live with us last spring.
Several friends have asked how they are getting along...
Lucy says, "Yes, she is still here."
If this photo had sound effects,
you would hear Jasmine growling.
Many of their negotiations have taken place
on or near the stairway.
Just another stare-down.
Sometimes Lucy appears to be the intimidator...
Then sometimes, Jasmine has the power.
But Lucy used her smooth,
slow motion moves,
and got past her.
Jasmine on her favorite perch in the kitchen...
wondering if Lucy knows she's there.
Yeah, Lucy knows.
And then, there's the watering hole...
Problem solved...put out two water dishes.
Don't you wish you knew what they were saying?
There is hope.
Take care,
~Natalie

What'cha Workin' On Wednesday ~Winterfest Preparations ~Crafting ADD
Jasmine has been a good helper cat.
We switched out the summer decor
to the colors of fall.
Remember, the Winterfest Application,
submitted in mid-September?
We received our acceptance letter a few days ago.
This news prompted me to take inventory
of items in my craft storage tubs.
These Snowmen Angels have wings cut from barnwood
from our family farm.
These Winter Gnomes are waiting for a good home...
...along with these tall Santas.
I just love how their toy bags turned out.
There are still a couple of these cutting boards in my stash.
What's new in the Sewing Studio?
Chenille Snowmen...waiting for their stuffing.
These snowmen can see the finish line.
They are just looking for their hats and scarves.
Some Wise Old Owls...
stop back to see how they turn out.
It has been a few years since I had turkeys in my shop.
These flat turkeys will take on a personality
when they are stuffed.
Can you guess what these are going to be?
Crafting and Coffee...
It's a wonderful Wednesday!
Take care,
~Natalie
