Okinawa Family Visit ~A Day Close to Home ~Jack Approved Snacks

Since we had spent the entire day before at the Lily Festival,
it was good to spend a day at home.
In the morning we ran a couple of quick errands
to the BX and the Commissary for a few necessities.
We ate lunch at home, and of course took a nap.

After a quick snack of turkey, cheese,
and Mama’s homemade muffins,
we went to obtain a Visitor Pass
for this Nana to stay on base.

In the waiting area,
a close view of a close game!

On the way home we stopped to
run off some energy.

Do you notice the little mouse
in Jack’s right hand?
That is actually a cat toy...
and that little mouse goes everywhere that Jack goes!

I don’t think Bella minds...she has plenty of other toys.

Do you also see the view over my left shoulder?
That is how close we are to the ocean!

Amy and Jack found a baseball in the park.
It was a great way to finish our afternoon.

Jack’s Mama and Nana combined efforts
to create this Toddler Burrito Bowl.
Spanish Rice
Sweet Corn
Black Beans
Avocado
Chicken Breast
Spinach
Tomato
Greek Yogurt
Cheddar Cheese
Yum

I appreciated the time to finish unpacking and organizing my things.
Amy needed to take care of important messages,
and we both tackled some house chores.

We are blessed!

Take care,
~Natalie
