Then This Happened ~Disapproving Cat ~Let’s Focus on the Positives

Lizzie’s water dish took a beating, and she doesn’t look happy.
And, how did this happen?

A shelf in my cabinet collapsed and all the dishes
came crashing down.  Some survived the fall,
while many of them did not.
There were pieces of glass from my “shatter-proof” Corelle
everywhere in the kitchen and dining room.

(No, Roomba was not cleaning it up…
I hit the pause button as soon as it entered the room)

However, this was a sure sign that I have too many dishes.

After dealing with that mess, I turned my attention
to Holiday preparations and brought out my
Christmas fabrics for a couple of projects.

Remember when Lizzie helped me create her Halloween Bandana?

She wore it proudly to dinner that evening.
(Yes, we ate out in the Man Cave)

She wears her Bison Bandana every Saturday
during Football Season.
So. she just had to have one for Christmas, too.
I look forward to seeing her in it.

And I suspect she’ll have a Bandana Collection
for every holiday in the coming year.

While shopping for South Dakota Products to create a Gift Basket,
I was excited to find this Christmas Jam from Char’s Kitchen.
If you’re interested, her contact information is there on the label.

Speaking of shopping…
There were several folks that visited my Etsy Shop
between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
I promptly prepared their packages to take to the USPS.

Hubby’s mother has been nurturing the last box of tomatoes
from her garden. They finally ripened and were ready to process.
We got busy to prepare a batch of sauce and we enjoyed a dinner
of Cavatini made with fresh tomatoes.
Several more bags of sauce are in the freezer,
on hand to use for pizza, pasta, or soup.

We Retired Empty Nesters can always
find something to keep us busy.

I hope you are all doing the same.

Focus on the Postive and
Enjoy the Holiday Season.

Take care,
~Natalie
