I simply love this tradition.
Who else remembers making May Baskets as a child,
then delivering them to neighbors?
These handsome young men were out early this morning,
ringing my doorbell, making my day.
Yes, I tried to catch them, but they were already
in their vehicle leaving for school.
Thank you!
It has been a week since my last post.
Here’s where the days went.
Spring Cleaning~Another annual tradition.
It’s the once-a-year opportunity to take everything out of each room
and clean Top to Bottom…Edge to Edge.
Most years I have started in March,
when we start getting spring-like weather.
But as you know, we had an unusually long winter this year.
And it’s still Officially Spring for eight more weeks.
Other teachers can relate.
Not a lot of extra time to Git ‘er Done during the school year.
As my mother would say, I’d give the dust bunnies,
toast crumbs, and window smudges,
“A lick and a promise”
Lizzie knew this was not a day for my ordinary House Chores.
She decided to stick around and supervise.
Yes, I dust the ceilings and the baseboards,
along with everything in between.
Soon this will all be clean and back in place.
Stop back to see how it’s going.
Take care,
~Natalie
