Friday mornings we take a break from our everyday routine
and meet for Coffee and a little Girlfriend Time.
This week’s outing took us downtown to The Market on the Plaza.
It was such a beautiful morning, we even sat outside.
There was not a cloud in the sky.
A locally owned Coffee Shop was the perfect choice to celebrate
National Small Business Week.
Meanwhile, Hubby had been out and about, too.
After his Breakfast with Buddies, he went shopping for our herbs.
With plenty of rich liquid energy, I took on the kitchen cabinets…
small appliances, dishes, pots and pans.
The shelves are wiped clean and everything is back in place.
These are genius.
Sure, you can use paper towels, or cut-up TShirts, however
you can purchase these felt separators for about a dollar a piece.
There are various sizes to layer and protect your pots and pans,
and they look so tidy.
Thank you for all your kind comments about
the family heirlooms on my previous post.
You may remember this hutch that was built by a family friend
when my mother was growing up. I first remember it
in my grandmother’s house. Later in our farmhouse.
All dusted and back in place.
The Little Things that Make Me Smile
I retired after nearly 40 years of teaching.
This Analog Clock was a gift from our School District.
It sits atop a stack of Vintage Books.
Can you read the title on that green book?
“Mistakes in Teaching”
Functional and Decorative.
This is covering the hole that was left when we
got rid of our landline phone on the wall.
(But that’s my secret)
My mother’s Cookie Jar and
her little book of inspirational readings.
Sweet Family Treasures.
Raindrops on our Windows…
and it smells clean and fresh inside, too.
Spring has Sprung!
I’ve moved on to the Bathroom and Bedroom.
Stick around.
Take care,
~Natalie

I love the clock! When I retired in 2019, I got nothing for 35 years of teaching from my district- I did get much love from co-workers. Yes, it's Marey from the defunct LMNOP blog.
