When all the Grandparents Come to Visit

This little girl was pretty excited to have all four grandparents

around the dinner table. It took her little Toddler Mind

a few minutes to get her head around what was happening.

These are the people she sees only on FaceTime!

Her Gramp and Gram live in North Carolina and

this Papa and Gigi live in South Dakota,

so we are rarely all together.

We all met at POPS, the family’s favorite Italian Restaurant.

POPS stands for the Palermo’s Original Pasta and Sandwiches.

Meet Nonna…

Nonna works hard every single day creating 

homemade Pasta in a variety of shapes

So, you can choose a Specialty dish from the Menu,

or you can select a Pasta and one of the Sauces on the list

to create your own Entreé.

While waiting for her Mac & Cheese, Papa and Jojo

watched a video on Mama’s phone.

We like Bluey.

The Caesar Salad was enough to share.

My Gnocchi was so delicious…

Asparagus and Broccoli Rabe with Lemon Cream Sauce.

Papa’s dinner was the Seafood Scampi…

Shrimp, Calamari, and Clams, in a 

Butter Garlic Wine Sauce.

Gramp and Gram had spent the previous week there,

our arrival overlapped their stay by just one day.

We were so glad we got the chance to visit,

And I think Jojo was pretty happy, too.
