A Weekend Highlight, by far.
A formal affair…and as our granddaughter would say
“Papa and Gigi got Fancy”
This was the last time we went to Northern Night,
Two decades ago.
The Ballroom also “got fancy” with lights and
beautiful centerpieces.
We enjoyed Social Hour with good friends,
complimentary champagne, tasty appetizers…
Along with time to browse the Silent Auction items.
The elegant place settings included a “party favor”…
This sweet treat was baked and decorated by Sundown Treats.
We took ours home to enjoy the next day.
A personal handwritten note for each attendee.
It was a honor to be invited to sit at the Presidents Table.
The five course Gourmet Dinner was fabulous.
The Filet was cooked to perfection…
Medium Rare.
Northern State University President, Dr. Alan Lave,
delivered the keynote address.
Here’s President LaFave with First Lady, Kari,
and daughter, Lexi.
