Whatcha Workin on Wednesday?

Our house. Last evening, I finished getting things back in place in our dining room and kitchen. The dishes in the hutch, the cookbooks on the bookshelf, the other dishes in the gourmet stand...
Well...what do you think of our new floor? We are liking it right now. It even makes our old furniture look better!

I usually have a rug by the sink and by the stove, but I kinda hate to cover it up.

So now, the kitchen and dining room seems like one big area. Before, it was carpet, like the living room, under the table in front of the patio doors.

Line's Room Update...
I took 7 more big bags to the Nearly New Store. My daughters and I have this self imposed rule. You have to donate more bags than you can buy. So...I dropped my bags off in the back door...then went around in the front door to look around. After all, I have taken 29 bags there just this month. I found this adorable little antique chair for an awesome price. It is perfect for Line's room...if she wants to sit at her desk, or even as a clothes catcher!

Love the chair, love the floor and love the rule about Thrift Stores, if only I would follow it now!

It all looks so wonderful! Isn't redecorating great? The chair is awesome. That is what I plan to start doing this fall. Painting and then some decorating and I just can't wait. Yeah for you!!!!

Love the flooring going to the doors better than carpeting. I need to visit Thrift stores more often!

You have been busy. I noticed in a previous post you said the garage is a diaster. At the moment my whole house is a diaster. Blech! Hopefully I will get the energy to start tackling it some soon. In the meantime I happily work on my stitching/sewing projects. The new floor looks great!

Love your floor - it looks great! I dis the same thing with the Salvation Army the other day. Dropped off all my stuff out back and then went around the front to go inside and browse. I was there again yesterday, but I didn't find anything :( Love your antique chair find!! Isn't it so exciting when you find something??

Everything has come together very nicely! The chair is so pretty. Doesn't it just boggle your mind that someone didn't want it? Their loss, your gain!

The floor is great. We installed DuraCeramic in our kitchen just last fall. I'm so happy with ours. It's pricy, but so worth it.
Nice to meet you. Thank you for visiting my blog and adding me.
