It has been a great week in professional sports for all of us in the Midwest. We had our friends over for the Minnesota Vikings & Green Bay Packers Game on Monday. We served some Pulled Pork Sandwiches, a variety of Salads and German Kuchen...and of course the Vikings won!
Then there's our Minnesota Twins...last night they won the Division championship...and tonight begins the play-offs. Best of Luck to the Twins!
Today my Child Development class spent time with our computerized babies. They cry, they coo when offered a bottle, they need to be changed, and maybe they just need to be rocked. The students really enjoyed the experience. We took a few "family photos". I have permission to share these with you.
Tonight, our youngest daughter, Emily was initiated into the Phi Upsilon Omicron Honor Society. This organization recognizes academic excellence and student leadership. She works hard in school and is much deserving of this honor.
So...I stopped by the Animal Health Clinic on my way home after school today...I needed to buy cat food for Callie and Lucy. Well, there are baby kitties there. Someone dropped them off in a cardboard box. There are two boys and a girl...all of them are as cute as cute can be...
But none of them would sit still and pose for a picture...Imagine...

So much going on in your neck of the woods! Congratulations on the sports triumphs -- also (and more important) your daughter's accomplishment!
Congratulations to Emily. That is a wonderful honor.
Those kittens are adorable.
Oh you are killing me...I am SOOO wanting a new kitty. I am going to kitty sit my daughter's little monster soon...and I'm hoping that makes me change my mind! HAHA! Have a good one.
Sounds like a fun time at your place this week. I am in baseball mourning...as always...because I am a Cubs fan. :)
You have been a busy bee. Congrats to your sports teams!!!!
I love the class for the kids to take care of babies, too bad they don't have to clean and cook while taking care of them too. :)
Cute kitties!!! Why can't people be more responsible though and get their pets spayed/neutered???
Yay for Emily!!!!!
Hi Natalie!
You have a lot going on in your life right now. Congrats to Emily; I know she deserves it!
Cute little kitties they are!

Aww, I love homeless kittens! My latest was picked up off the highway where it was huddled by a stop sign, waiting for a ride -- I tried to rescue a second one near my home, but haven't been able to entice it to come yet...
Congrats Emily!A great honor for all her hard work!!
