TGIF & So Much to Do Saturday

I am so happy that it is Friday. I am looking forward to a weekend of decorating, laundry, baking, cleaning, shopping, cooking, creating, wrapping, visiting, ...just hanging out by the Christmas tree...

Yesterday was one of those 14 hour work days...yes, I was at school from 7:15 a.m. till 9:15 p.m. ...
Yes, it was parent/teacher conferences...yes, I am tired...

What do you all have planned?

Happy Weekend, everyone!

If you were my neighbor I would bake a plate of cookies and bring them over to you. You deserve some kindness after a 14 hour day. Hope your weekend is wonderful!

Sounds like a great weekend is in the works. Working in a school and having two kids that are teachers....I hear you loud and clear about the hours you put in. My youngest is a newer teacher and 12 hour days are the norm for him almost every day plus he has to work a second job to be able to pay his bills. The other one teaches and goes to school so he is exhausted all of the time.

People that think teachers "have it made" should walk a mile in a teacher's shoes!

Thank you so much for all you do!

14 hours? I do hope this morning that you are still in bed resting up!!! Our weekend plans all seem rained out so far...but it is early still on Saturday, so who knows??? I still need to finish decorating too.

Sounds like your weekend is busy but what a fun busy it will be. Today I'm making 2 appetizers and 1 dip for our Sunday School progressive dinner tonight. And my Chrismas decorating continues. Tomorrow my daughter and I have a shopping trip to Tulsa planned. I know the traffic will be hectic!

You deserve a great weekend after working 14 hour days! That sounds exhausting!

I'm still on my organizational kick around here, so I'll probably spend the weekend finishing what I started. After that, it's all about decorating for Christmas!

Oh I remember those long days when I was still at the preschool. Conference time was exhausting! Our first one was in November before Thanksgiving. Just draining!
I hope you get a nice long break at Christmas time.

In a 'normal' year, our courses are closed much much earlier too but this fall has been exceptional. Hubby picked a good year to join the golf course!

Your weekend sounds great...did you get everything you wanted to do done? My Saturday was a work day, so it was a full day. Today, we have a family get together to go to.

Have a great Sudnay!

Ohhhh, I'll trade you my 14 hour day at the hospital for your 14 hour day at work :) I am off this week recuping from surgery....had a tumor removed from my parotid gland...and 7 days off work.

Happy Christmastime!

1. please turn the heat up, it's cold down here!
2. No fair, you've got everything decorated and I have the boxes sitting in front of a bare tree
3. Yup, not one present under that bare tree either! I think we is heathens!
