Aloha...

From our foreign exchange daughter.  Line has been talking about this Hawaii trip since she got here in August...and now, it has become a reality!  She is traveling with a large group of exchange students.   Some left from Grand Forks, some from Fargo, and some from Cedar Rapids, Iowa...all meeting in Minneapolis.  We offered to make the trip to Fargo, in order to save Line (well, her parents, actually) some money by joining that group there.  All the students were given this teal blue t-shirt so they can be recognized in the airport by the trip chaparones...just like when our daughter's preschool class took a field trip!   You guessed it, one of the trip organizers is an elementary school teacher.Line cannot wait for the 80 degree temperatures on the big island!
...

Here, the students spent some time getting acquainted...and Line made one more phone call home to her family in Norway.
At last, they are on their way...Aloha!

Oooh! Hawaii! I hope Line has a wonderful time and also that her luggage doesn't take a trip of its own again. :)
