Monday Mania

Monday Morning rolls around too fast, doesn't it...While it is a little warmer outside, it is still not always easy to get up and to get out...
Grammy, Emily and I scoured the After-Christmas Clearance Sales, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my new sweater paired nicely with an existing long sleeve and trousers.  I was feeling like Mrs. Garanimal...  Remember the Garanimals?
And who invented this stuff...
A genious...
...Remember the days when we had to scrape the windshild??!!

We took our Christmas trees and other holiday decorations down last night...forces us to clean and rearrange the furniture.   Doesn't the room look empty and sad?

While shopping the post-Christmas sales...I found some gold bulbs.  There were 12 in a package for $1.25...Can't beat that price...and notice...Shatterproof...

Something tells me that I will be looking for some replacement bulbs next November...

Just when I was thinking that I looked pretty sharp in my new sweater...I checked the mail...and there was the Victoria Secret Swim '10 catalogue...

A harsh reality-check.

Sooo...Dinner...
I have this fabulous widget on my iGoogle...
It features a dinner recipe of the day...it is light and lowfat...quick, and easy to prepare...just what every busy mom needs at the end of the day.

Tonight, we are having Asian Rice with Shrimp and Snow Peas.

Cute sweater and that Victoria's Secret girl looks like she is about 15 years old! I have never seen that windshield stuff before. Need to check that out. Your living room looks nice and peaceful if you ask me and what is i-google? Is that a phone thing or a computer thing. I eat seafood, but I am always interested in quick easy low fat recipes.

Hi Natalie,
Nice sweater! Your living room looks nice, and very neat. Don't ya love a bargain? I picked up a few after Christmas sale things, too. Hmph, the model from VS is airbrushed, I bet! ;-)

I took our tree down on Sunday, too. That corner does look so empty. Hard to believe we lived with that much space for the whole rest of the year and, now, after having the tree there for a few weeks it looks so bare!

Our tree corner is going to be the home of the new DVD rack that D is building. Right now it looks a bit forlorn. Arby was upset about the tree being down so we dug out a string of lights for her.

Love the sweater--the Victoria's Secret model isn't real! :D

I love after-Christmas shopping (that's when all the best deals are available on all the ornaments you wanted to buy, but thought were too expensive). Plus, all that cute wrapping paper to be tucked away for the next year!

I'm not familiar with that ice & frost remover stuff. I'll have to ask the hubby if he knows about it. I took our tree down Sunday and I'm always sad to see it go.

I missed the after Christmas specials this year, but it looks like you made out well.
I feel like you do when the decorations are down it seems sort of dreary in my family room. No sparkles.
Have a wonderful night, Natalie.
