Everyone in our family received a pair of hand-knit Norwegian Selbu mittens. Wooly and warm for our South Dakota winter. And we are definately going to need them this weekend...

Thanks for sharing, Natalie! My mother has a pair of these mittens that are cobalt blue & white and very old. Seeing yours brought back memories! I was recently looking for a "gnome" pattern and the "nisse" made me chuckle as I have been envisioning these little beings in my head! ~Lisa
