The Heartland Care Center

Mom has had a busy four days getting settled at the Heartland Care Center...
A whirlpool bath...
A haircut, shampoo and set...
A trip to the clinic...
Physical Theray...
Today, she was cold...
So they 'parked' her in the bright sunshine to warm up.
After dinner, Ken came by to visit.
He brought her mail and had a quick cup of coffee.
A favorite hang-out for the residents is the enclosure that houses these pretty birds.
They are small...and quick...difficult to capture with my camara...

I, too, think I'd like to sit here to watch the birds
and listen to their sweet sounds!

Looks as though your mother is settling in nicely and that she is in a good place. How that must ease your mind!

I love it when they have "bird rooms" n care facilities -- it's so soothing for patients to be surrounded by those beautiful feathers and friendly chirps!

What a wonderful place for your mom to be! She is living it up I'm telling you! That's great that you were able to find such a nice place for her. The birds are such a neat idea! I wish more places would do something like that.
