Mother's Day Family Tradition

The women in this family are typically treated like royalty on Mother's Day.
This tradition was established long ago by my father-in-law.
The celebration usually included fresh flowers of some sort...
A pork loin on the grill...
A tablecloth...
Beautiful cards...

Line was a part of our family celebration this year...very different than what they have in Norway.  Our family is small...my sister-in-law prepares the meal...Pork Loin with all the delicious side dishes.  Line bought a beautiful card with a special Mother's Day message and these lovely glasses.  They are for Margaritas, but I think they could also be used for some desserts.

My Hubby and daughters went together to surprise me with these summer fun dishes.  They are pictured in the Better Homes and Gardens magazine, and they can be purchased at WalMart.

New dishes...new glasses...
I think there might be a party in our near future!!
