My blog, that is...
Is it a stressful place to visit?
I'm sorry if I have made anyone feel uncomfortable.
It seems my life has been an emotional roller coaster since March...
thus, my blog...an emotional roller coaster.
I made the trip home for overnight, as I had to tend to some important business.
(remind me...this is a story for another blog post)
When you are stressed, there is just no place like home, is there?
Hubby has worked hard at home while I was away.
The house was perfect...there were no dishes in the sink,
and everything was freshly vacumed!
He had shopped for flowers for the deck,
as he knows how much I enjoy sitting out there after a long day.
He did a good job, didn't he?
We enjoyed watching the birds...
We took time to stop and smell the flowers.
We are going to dinner at the home of our dear friends, the LaFaves.
It is just the spark I need before returning to mom's to implement our preferred plan...
the Assisted Living Facility.
And before long, I will be home again...
Our life will become more routine.
My blog will return to a place that is simply about
cats, cooking, and creating.

Natalie, thats what friends are for! Follow your heart, God will take care of the rest. Have a great day!

I've never thought of your blog as stressful. Life happens and sometimes you just need to talk.
You are truly blessed to have such a wonderful husband. The flowers he bought are gorgeous.
Have a restful weekend. Things will soon balance out.
Natalie, your hubby has great taste when it comes to decorating your deck. Petunias are my favorite.
I am sure things will calm down as soon as you get your mom situated in the Asssted Living Facilty.
Take care.
I agree with Granny.. I liken our blogs to the kitchen table.. In my family the women sit around the kitchen table and discuss (cry, rant, curse, and Pray...often) there is nothing wrong with hanging with your sisters and letting it all go. God created kitchen table counciling for us poor people, free, and more effective for life's everyday drama! And I want to borrow your husband for my deck... That is definately the deck to come home to!
Your blog is NOT in the least stressfull.
I enjoy reading about your daily stuff even if it is not FUN stuff.
Your husband is just wonderful...you have an amazing family.
I think the assited living deal will be better for you and Mom.
Let us know how things go.
Take care, Suz
Your blog is NOT stressful. Life is messy. And sometimes we have to handle that when we would rather be petting the cats :-).
Your husband is wonderful to have the house ready for you to rest in. And I'm glad that you are going with the assisted living.
It's very stressful...been there and done it!
Your husband is fantastic at picking out flowers.

{{{Natalie}}} I am so glad we were all here for you to talk to. Don't change your posting! Your hubby is so sweet to have things just perfect for you to enjoy some time at home. The floors are beautiful and I think your kittie agrees :) I hope you can have a peaceful and enjoyable time at home, feeling refreshed and ready to make the decisions you need to make and to help your Mom when you head back.

Your deck looks awesome, kudos to your sweetie. It looks like a wonderful place to de-stress. I haven't thought of your blog as stressful either.

Ok--I wanna deck like yours! I love your flowers!
I think our blogs are expressive--what we are going through comes out in our blogs. I find that useful and informative because I know I may be going through those same experiences myself--if I'm not already.
Once you get your mother settled, you will feel better--after some rest and relaxation. Take care of yourself!
Natalie don't be silly. Your blog is not stressful, we are all here for you! That is what we do!
Natalie my thoughts are with you during this time in your life with your mother. I know you will be glad when you are back to a normal routine. Hubby did awesome on the flowers. I love your deck.

your blog has never stressed me out. believe me, we all know how life gets sometimes! i'm just impressed that you managed to keep us all updated!
take care!
The only thing stressful is thinking about you making decisions I may have to in the future. Oh, and I met your twin at Hyvee today!
I don't gather stress from your blog at all, even when you mom was in the hospital. It's good to have an outlet like our blog to keep us on track. I really enjoy your blog and I really find it refreshing and relaxing... far from stressful, girl!
