Party Like a Rock Star...

Did I ever mention that my hubby was a Rock Star?
Yup...when he was in high school and college, he and his friends had a band.
They played current hits...
Doobie Brothers...Chicago...Earth, Wind and Fire
They played for high school proms and university dances.
And, they were very good!

Fast forward 32 years...
Yesterday, we celebrated hubby's birthday.
Notice how everyone gathers around in the kitchen?
(This time I remembered to gather all of my serving pieces and utensils before everyone got here)

Since it is still very much summer here,
the menu was perfect...
and the weather cooperated, so the guys could be outside tending to the grill.
Our family and friends were able to sit outside to enjoy good conversation.

It was a perfect summer evening...
Happy Birthday to my Rock Star!

Take care,
(One of the old Groupies)

Love the "Rock Star" photo...Happy Birthday to your Hubby. There's a local band from the '70's that is making a "comeback" around here. My best friend dated the keyboard player. We're planning on going to see them next time they play Boordy Vineyards.
