Today is my Hubby's Birthday.
Last year was the BIG one, so this year's celebration will be on a smaller scale...
we've invited just six couples over.
Hamburgers on the grill and all the summer sides.
Yummo!
(Hopefully, I will remember to take some pictures to share with you all.)
When we returned home from our week of vacation,
I was delighted to find a huge package amongst all the bills and junk mail.
She packed this box full of goodies that made me smile!
How did she know I usually take my lunch to school in a plain plastic bag?
and how could she possibly know that my school bag is red?!
I am loving this new, fashionable KOKO lunch tote from Cosmoda.
Next, this very classy ceramic pen from Kyocera.
Now, she's smooth!
Filling the box, was Debra's stash of embroidery threads...
...rich colors and such beautiful luster...
...wooden hoops and vintage patterns...
I think embroidery will become my new addiction this winter!
Thank you, Debra.
You really know how to make my day!!
Take care,
~Natalie
p.s.
While the embroidery patterns are vintage, Debra and I are not.
We both majored in Textiles and Clothing at NDSU,
so we had most of our classes together.
We share so many good memories.
p.s.s.
It needs to stop raining so our dinner guests can enjoy the patio this evening.
