There Was No Room At the Inn...

...the Fireside Inn
...the Holiday Inn Express
...the Great American Inn
...the Days Inn

...and Why?

I was afraid we might have to sleep in our pick up!

Luckily for us, a fishing resort is not too busy on the weekdays, and we were able to get a room there.
Pretty sure, it was meant to be.
Cause, this was my morning view!

While we not completely prepared for camping and fishing,
the beautiful Woodland Resort was peaceful, serene...
The camp store provided complimentary coffee
and I was able to check messages on their patio.
I felt a bit guilty enjoying this early morning setting,
while I was supposed to be helping my mom.
But it was the perfect get-away place...

Wishing all of you a peaceful weekend.
Take care,
~Natalie

Just happened on your blog last night and have enjoyed reading your posts. I've also taken a several looks at your Etsy items--they are lovely and unique!

There were a lot of "ooohs! and aahhhs!" to be heard as I looked at your photos. What a beautiful place to rest and relax.

You were fortunate to find such a beautiful place to stay! I'm sure it was much more scenic than any other hotel/motel in the area.

The last time we were in a similar situation (where all the hotels in the area were full), we ended up at a pretty dismal place. I'm so glad you didn't have the same experience!
