What's for Dessert?

Fruit Pizza

Make the crust first, so it has time to cool.

Recipe for delicious crust...

1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Mix together. Press into round pizza pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool.

Next layer...

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp. fruit juice (reserved from the canned pineapple)

Beat together and spread on cooled crust.

Arrange any assortment of fruit on top.
Pineapple Tidbits
Mandarin Oranges
Bananas
Fresh Strawberries
Kiwi
Maraschino Cherries

Enjoy!

Take care,
~Natalie

Love the pictures! :O) I tried to make fruit pizza with some friends one time w/o a recipe but it turned out horrible!! We didn't think we needed to cook the cookie dough we used (we were young is my excuse!lol) so it was really bad! I'll have to try your recipe & see if I can handle it now! Thanks for sharing!

Those kids are so cute! The dough sounds really good. I'm used to seeing crust recipes involving sugar cookie crust, and this one looks healthier and far more interesting!
