You all must know how hard it is to go back to work after a little vacation...
Well, the best part of my Monday morning was removing the aroma seal from a fresh canister of coffee.
There is nothing that can top that aroma!
My Spring Break included a little road trip with our girls to Minneapolis...
this has become an annual excursion for our family.
This is what it looks like driving in South Dakota.
Yes, it is flat here in the eastern part of the state...
and No, there are not very many cars on the Interstate.
We went to a restaurant in the Mall of America called Crave.
Here, I tasted my first Sushi...
Yummo!
Our Hotel was downtown, as our main mission was to be together...
and to shop...and to eat...
We were caught up in the St. Patty's Day Parade...
There were lots of people and lots of very large dogs along Nicolette Mall!
I loved every minute of our time together...
Back here in the real world...
It was back to school,
and...
It made my day to see my Tins and Treasures shop
featured on our Etsy PAFA team blog.
While riding in the car, I was able to make the finishing hand-stitches on several new Infinity Scarves for Spring. They are now listed in my Etsy Shop.
While out on the patio...taking photos for my shop...
there she was...on the neighbor's lawn...
...yes...the first official sign of spring...

Looks like you had a great time on your spring break! So sad to see it end though. When I was in SD the interstate didn't have many cars either ~ isn't that weird?

Ah, I envy you getting to spend time with your grown daughters. How I wish my daughter lived closer.
I've never tried sushi, though my daughter insists I should, and that I'd love it. Maybe some day. We did visit the infamous (or would that be famous?) Mall of America on a visit to our daughter a few years ago, while she was living in Minneapolis. What a fabulous place. The four of us in our group that day each got a (wonderfully delicious) meal from four different restaurants, then all met at one table in the food court. Fun, fun day!
I, too, love the smell of a fresh bag of coffee. We buy beans and grind them, but whichever way you go, you simply can't beat that aroma. I loved it even before I became a coffee drinker. In fact, that's probably what prompted me to become one. :-)

Oh what a wonderful road trip for you. We have our spring break starting April 2nd. I can't wait, and after reading your blog, I want to take a run to Couer D' Alene for a shopping trip. If the weather behaves. Just the other day, I came home from work and had both of my apple trees filled with robins. I just stood there and listened to their call. Cheery Up, Cheery Oh! Kit
