Independence Day ~ There's No Better Way to Spend the Day

A red, white & blue menu at Langs "Cooking up Summer Fun"
was a great start to our holiday weekend.

My hubby took a couple of days of vacation,
so we headed in to the cities.
It was a beautiful weekend for outdoor baseball.

Target Field is a great place to watch baseball.

Our good friends, Alan and Kari, joined us for the weekend.
We enjoyed a hearty breakfast at The Key's before the game.

The ballpark's promotion was a Lou Gehrig Bobble Head.
It is the 75th anniversary of his Luckiest Man iconic speech.

And good friends, Chuck and Wendy met us at the game.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a fabulous meal at Hell's Kitchen
complete with live music.

And...as if we hadn't had enough to eat already,
we all met at The Local for brunch the next morning.
They do have the best creamy hash browns on Nicollet Mall.

It was a fabulous holiday weekend.
Now, it is back to work,
back to taking care of business.

I hope you all are rejuvenated
and ready to tackle another work week.

Take care,
~Natalie
