Happy Mother's Day to all Women who Nurture and Care for Children

Best wishes today to all mothers and to all women who nurture and care for others.
Some women do not have babies of their own, but still play such an important role in raising our children.
Some are teachers, nurses, and day care providers.
Others are aunts, Godmothers, and special family friends.

Women are born with a "mothering gene" and they naturally provide love and support to those that they care about.

For those of us whose mothers have gone to their heavenly home,
I am posting this reminder again this year.

(So many times I catch myself
saying something my mother would have said.)

Of course, I have to post this photo again.
It is a favorite of mine. I think it is because there is just so much going on!

The 90's hair and glasses.
Our homemade dresses.
This was the era that Amy refused to wear a dress, so the girls are in shorts and tops.
Grammy and Mom always got a corsage to wear to church.
We always posed for our Mother's Day photo under the pink tree in our backyard.
Notice, Emily is holding Grammy's hand.
And, I think my face says, "hurry up and take the picture, we are going to be late for church!"

Precious memories!!
Enjoy your day with your family.

Take care,
~Natalie
