Reunited and It Feels So Good ~Our Weekend House Guests

Friends for over 40 years.
These two guys were friends in high school and college.
We had not seen them for over three years.

During those younger years,
we spent a lot of time together.
The guys played in their band,
and Sheri and I tagged along.
 We became close too.

They were back in town for the holiday
weekend to visit Roger’s family,
to attend a wedding,
and celebrate a big birthday.
They used our house as their “base camp”.

We did enjoy breakfast together most mornings.
Here are the guys making brunch.

We all sat in the man cave to watch some baseball.

The weekend weather was so pleasant,
we enjoyed good conversation out on the patio.
Hubby prepared an early dinner of
BBQ Ribs and Corn on the Cob.

This is one of our favorite recipes...
it involves Smoked Paprika,
Salt & Pepper,
Lime Juice and Cilantro.

Yesterday, they left home for home in Texas.
Hubby returned to work after the holiday break.
And I am still at home with my leg up on pillows.
It was great to see them again.

Take care,
~Natalie
