Spending Time with Friends ~Staying in Touch Over the Years ~Priceless

We have been blessed with so many good friends over the years.
We had a great time when this couple spent the evening visiting us.
Debra and I became Best Friends while at NDSU,
both majoring in Textiles & Clothing.

First things first…
They need to spend a little time with Lizzie.
She loves the attention and they get their “kitty fix”
as they are missing their Bella and Jackson at home.

They always come bearing gifts, including something for Lizzie.
There’s a Luffa Farm near their home and it comes
packaged with refreshing Cucumber Soap.
Thank you for bringing a little bit of California with you.

Debra grew up here and they return home every year to visit
her mother, along with their extended family.
We really appreciate that they carve out a little time for us.

My fellow fashionista…
Don’t we look young here?

Of course we have to take a photo together every time they visit.
We have the best time reminiscing about those college days,
Our professors, those class projects, and
the textile labs that made me crazy.

We’d plan our class schedule and register together to assure that
we’d be in the same section and could be Lab Partners.

After graduation, Debra moved away and I moved here to
her hometown to teach Fashion, Clothing Construction,
and Textiles at the High School.

Debra’s parents “adopted” me that year,
I had Brunch with them every Sunday after Church and
joined that big extended family at their Thanksgiving Table.

Debra’s mother was talented in the kitchen.
On weekends, she and her neighbor, Monica, would include me
when baking, and I learned how to make some of their sweet delicacies.

We had a great evening.
Thank you for sharing your time with us.

Spending Time with Friends…
Priceless

Take care,
~Natalie
