It was an eventful month of celebrating friendship.
Hubby and I spent time with High School friends, college friends,
new friends, and longtime friends.
For years, we spent every Friday Night with this group.
We meet after work for Happy Hour and
then we’d have Dinner together.
Now, we are all Retired Empty Nesters and life has taken
us in different directions. Last week, we enjoyed a four day visit
with our friends that have moved away, to be closer to their family.
Thank you, Chuck and Wendy, for hosting a lovely dinner in your home.
We enjoyed some Girl Talk, while the guys solved world problems.
Day two found the Guys and Girls having lunch in separate restaurants.
Again, we girls caught up on life, love, family, health, and new recipe ideas.
After lunch, we were delighted to ride the Train
around our Storybook Land.
Our next Outing was for some much needed pampering.
Our toes are now ready for Summer.
The last evening we all went out for dinner.
Five couples in all, I regret not getting a photo of the whole group.
I guess we were all caught up in just being present,
and of course there were those Hugs Goodbye.
Spending Time with Good Friends…
