It was hoppin’ downtown this weekend.
It’s always fun to chat with folks that
we haven’t seen for a while.
And it’s always interesting to eat dinner from a Food Truck.
We shared these Pulled Pork Nachos…
Tortilla Chips topped with Tasty Pork, Fiesta Cheese Sauce,
Corn Salsa, and Pickled Red Onions.
There was a good crowd there for the live music.
The Band was The Silver Alchemist from Minneapolis,
performing lots of high energy, familiar tunes.
It was a beautiful Friday night with perfect weather,
tasty food, great music, and good conversation.
We were back downtown on Saturday for
the Annual Sizzlin’ Summer Nights.
Blocks and Blocks of beautifully restored cars
and motorcycles on display.
It was difficult to pick a favorite.
This might be the one I’d like to drive home!
We had another dinner outdoors on the street. This time,
from the Kesslers tent on the Plaza.
The Birria Tacos were delicious.
Sunday Morning Brunch
It was a weekend of good eating as Hubby was craving some German Sausage.
He offered to make Eggs and Toast, with Hash Browns.
He prepared that sausage out on his grill.
Since we spent much of the weekend gallivanting around town,
We still had Saturday’s Work to do on Sunday.
I hope y’all had a fun and productive weekend.
Take Care,
~Natalie
