The Walking Taco Tutorial

So many questions about the Walking Taco...
and it is exactly what it sounds like it is. You can eat it while you are walking...
These were our best sellers when we worked concessions at Swim Meets.
Here one of our Zion youth demonstrates how fast she can build a Walking Taco.

Start with a bag of Tortilla Chips.
(I usually crush them just a little bit, so they are bite size pieces.)
Using a scissors, cut off one of the edges...
It is important to set the bag on its side so you cut off the longer edge, creating a bigger opening to insert your ingredients and then to eat your taco.

Add a scoop of taco meat...

And a generous scoop of shredded cheddar...

A pinch of lettuce...

Salsa and Sour Cream.
I also like some tomato, onions and black olives.

Here my hubby demonstrates how portable the Walking Taco can be!

Meet the youth that are attending the National Youth Convention.
Again, note how easy it is to eat a Walking Taco!

Some of you will remember that we served these at

Let me know if you serve Walking Tacos
 to your family and friends.

Take care,
~Natalie

When I saw the title, I thought, could it be??? Yes, it was. We make those at our school and the kids love them. We used to use Fritos but now we have switched to Tostitos. Still very yummy! Kit
