Christmas Shopping on Newbury Street ~Thanksgiving Week in Boston ~Black Friday

There's no place like Boston's Newbury Street,
to spark the Christmas Shopping  Spirit.

Uber dropped us here,
a great place to start our Black Friday Shopping.

I love the vintage sewing machines
on display in this shop.

There's something for everyone at Nike...

...and especially, if you are a Patriot fan.

Many stores set the mood
by bringing nature indoors.

This shop had the most creative merchandising.

We walked several blocks to a favorite restaurant.
I felt like I was on the set of a movie!

The menu features small plates to share.
These are the Mapo Tacos.
We also had the Brussels Sprouts
and the Pork Belly Bao.
All delicious!

We were treated to a complimentary beverage.
This is called "Our Painkiller".
That is Coconut Foam on the top!

Our next stop, was right next door...
It was a fascinating place with live jazz,
and it was packed with people of all ages.

Here we met up with good friends, Meaghan and Greg.
I enjoyed seeing them again.

This Black Friday was a great "kick-off" to the
Holiday Shopping Season.
Thank you, Emily and Jake.

Take care,
~Natalie
