We Empty Nesters have enjoyed a Quiet Holiday Week
at home and we have loved the Photos and
FaceTime calls from our family.
While Jack’s Mama was preparing dinner,
Jack and his Aunty Emily entertained themselves
by calling Gigi and Papa.
We had significant snowfall earlier in the week...
...which called for a skillet of comfort food, Gigi’s Goulash.
No, I don’t think that the Royalty eat Goulash very often.
These Cranberry Brie Bites are perfect for the holidays.
The colors look like Christmas and it’s a perfect way to finish
the leftover Cranberry Sauce that you made for Thanksgiving.
To ring in the New Year,
Hubby prepared Lobster Tails on the Grill.
I had seen the Williams Sonoma Instagram post
for these Crispy Roasted Potatoes.
Lobster Tails on the Grill have been our favorite way
to prepare them, even if there’s snow on the patio.
Hubby had to shovel a path to the grill, but it was worth it!
Yesterday, while working out in the Man Cave,
Hubby put some Wings in his Smoker.
My contribution to the meal was this
Cheddar & Mozzarella Cheese Garlic French Bread Loaf.
Every year one of my New Years Resolutions is to always
have something green on our dinner plate.
Even when we are having Tailgating Snacks
and watching Football.
Already, the first weekend of the New Year
is coming to an end.
A traditional Holiday meal with family was in order.
Turkey in the Oven
Stuffing in the Crockpot
Honey Cream Cheese Skillet Corn
Parmesan Garlic Roasted Carrots
Honeycrisp Apple Salad
A tasty flavor combination...
plus, we have plenty of food left for the next couple of days.
Here’s Hubby with his mom and sister,
celebrating the New Year with
good food and family conversation.
Sending Best Wishes for the New Year
filled with love and friendship,
health and happiness,
prosperity and much success.
Happy New Year, everyone.
Stay safe and well.
Take care,
~Natalie
