Over the River and Through the Woods, to Grandchildren’s House We Go ~Day Three Report ~Traveling through Four States

Will Papa and Gigi take us for walks
around the neighborhood?

Definitely! We can show Papa where the park is.
Gigi took me there to play when she was here
to stay with me before the pandemic.

Day three found us waking up in Elkhart, Indiana.
Beautiful flowering plants right outside the door of our hotel.

The highlight of our morning drive…

…spotting an Amish Horse and Buggy.

Next up, the State of Ohio and tackling the Ohio Turnpike.

There it is…Huge Trucks have taken the place
of that quaint Horse and Buggy.

I had carved our Day Three Burger
before remembering to take the photo.
This one was at the Red Robin near Cleveland and
the Bacon Jam made it one of hubby’s favorites.

Here’s my portion with another tasty side salad.
A perfect lunch before getting back in the vehicle.

The rest of our drive was pretty uneventful.
Just lots more trees, as we cut across the corner of Pennsylvania.

And into our fourth state of the day, New York.

But then, “uneventful” is a good goal
when you are on a drive across the country.

Have a terrific Tuesday, everyone.

Take care,
~Natalie
