Weekend in Boston ~We Worked ~We Played ~We Feasted on Scrumptious Seafood

After spending a day in the city, walking the Freedom Trail
and appreciating all of the rich history there,
it was time to take care of business.

Emily and Jake’s lease expired the end of June,
prompting them to relocate.
They loaded Hubby’s pickup and made four trips
to their storage unit with all of their precious possessions.
I stayed back in the apartment
to finish packing up their kitchen.

Our reward for a job well done was an evening out
at one of their favorite local hotspots.

We relaxed, enjoyed some live music,
and ate some very tasty Fish Tacos.

The East Coast was experiencing a Heat Wave, so after
tying up some loose ends in the apartment, we moved poolside.

Semi relaxing, as the “tenants” needed
to complete the necessary phone calls to cancel services.
As you know, that means spending much time
listening to your phone, while on “hold”.

After checking off most of the tasks on the day’s checklist,
we all cleaned up to go out and about.
We got our feet wet in the Atlantic Ocean…

And felt the warm sand between our toes.

Next stop, Squantum Point Park in Quincy, MA.

We walked along the boardwalk enjoying this view.
Then, another favorite restaurant, the Reel House.

We shared five appetizers between the four of us.
Malaysian Style Chicken Wings
Blistered Shishito Peppers

Portuguese Style Mussels

Elite Corn “Off the Cob”
Jonah Crab Fried Rice.

Amazing variety of flavors…
All were delicious!

Bye Bye Boston…
So many Sweet Memories

Take care,
~Natalie
